Scientific Name: Aulonocara ethelwynnae
Pronunciation: A-loo-no-car-a eth-al-win-aye
Trade Name(s): Chitande Peacock
Distribution: Between Chilumba & Mdoka
Habitat: 25-40mtrs, Rcoky & Sandy areas. Some area Males will defend a cave.
Diet: Snails & other Invertebrates
Sexing: Males have beautiful blue fins with a yellow/brown body. Females are silver with brown bars.
Maximum Size: 12cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: I haven't seen this species for many years in OZ, Possibly lost to the hobby.
