Any chippies on this group? or anyone who has made pine stand for tanks, after some knowledge on some do's and dont's

Not a chippy but I've done a few 2 tier 4 foot stands and worked construction my whole working life so I'm better than handy.
Make sure you get straight timber. Particularly for the length of the tank.
Make sure everything is square, plumb and level.
Best practice is to make sure that weight bearing horizontal and transversal timbers are sitting on verticals. Nothing can fail that way.
I'm not a fan of drawing before I start building but it would probably be a swell idea if you aren't terribly experienced.
From memory I think I used 70x35s.

Build it so that the weight is pushing it together and transferring it down into the ground, not pulling it apart.

Hi every one new club member I am a chippy or close to one just build my hood one of a kind
Going to put mat white paint in side to reflect the light a little more
