The two snails you pictured in the first post remind me of the Drupella snail - a coral eating snail :

they dont look as lumpy as those ones which has gotta be a good thing!

i think i saw a tiny tiny mantis shrimp in there last night, which is awesome lol.

There are a number of species, and yours are quite old, so the shells are a bit worn.... I just remember the shape when I did some research on the Ningaloo Reef during my Uni years - so it rang a bell.... keep an eye on them.

they seem to be constantly grazing on algae so hopefully they will be ok, cheers for the heads up tho.

while i was acclimating him, i dangled a toothbrush handle into the tank near him, and he hits like a freaking psychopath! so fast you wouldnt see it coming and almost knocked the toothbrush out of my hand!

they are like the sweetest thing that lives in the water!

they are ultra cute, then they punch stuff to death

depends on the species, but mine kinda cruises around digging burrows under the liverock... picks up rocks and puts them here... decides it doesnt like it so puts it over there, changes its mind... tries to put the rock where it wont fit, gets angry and punches the rock... then moves it back, sits in its burrow watching me with its evil little eyes... eats a piece of prawn and then hides for awhile ..etc
