There are three parties that vote, to balance things out and limit the effect of possible dummy votes. The public gets a vote via the forum, the competition sponsor Synetrix votes and a member of the committee votes. The Synetrix and committee vote is cast without knowing which photo is by whom, Ronny keeps that to himself until after voting is closed.

The combined votes then determine the winner.
