Recently sourced a small group of hajomaylandi which are a species not that easy to come across anymore. Got 6 fry out my first mouthful which is not a lot but it's a start. Great looking fish - they get a bit larger than most mbuna and sport a yellow and lavender colour combination instead of your typical blue and/or yellow. Females aren't drab either.

Blue dolphins spawned in the cuckoo tank as well so hopefully there's 2 or 3 kittens coming out of that

Finally! my female Msobo is first time holding after a long journey. I am very happy ..Bought 10 of them from Ned, one of our reputable breeders from sydey more than a year ago at 3cm. One jumped out.  Two males killed by Alpha then sold off Alpha as display. Then beta male killed one male again. Now I have 2 Males & 3 Females left in colony.

A pair of topaz cichlids emerged from their cave this afternoon with a brood of about 30 3mm free swimmers. Had no idea as I've got a group of 5 adults and was waiting for a pair to make itself obvious. Gotta pay better attention next time as I now have to find a comodationfor the non paired three.
