No cold water algae eaters. Best you can do is a pleco for the warm months and take him out the cool months.

i have a native snail that demolishes algae in my outside tank which is very close to freezing water... water is so cold i reckon if it wasnt agitated by the pump it would have a layer of ice on it during these cold mornings....
pm me if you want some... and you'll see the proof they work.... goldfish in one tank and they obviously eat the snails and its green as... below tank with platies in is spotless... unbelievable but fair dinkum true!!!
