Now that is very interesting, Waxy. That's a rather expensive snail removal kit, though...

True Kleinz. Its only by chance that I've discovered this.

My display was overun with snails at one stage, I started to wonder where they had gone until I saw one being munched.

3 different types of snails gone completely.

And yeah they look a bit nicer than a snail trap........when you see them that is.

Certain L numbers are also good for removing snails. I never find snails in tanks with vampires (L007)

The (very) similar pattern on the 2 would indicate they are from the same bloodline/batch.

Too small to sex in my opinion.

Ok these things have been around a while now. Great fish, I like em anyway.
Has anyone owned or seen one of these fish at a monster size?
In my opinion the "L144" both long and short fin variety are a smaller fish than the commons and albinos. To me even the fry look smaller than the standard BN. I've had L144 fry squeeze thru holes in frysavers that I've never had issues with other BN.
Ok so who has the biggest L144?
I've seen albino shortfin BN @17cm and a common male around that size too.
While the biggest L144 I've seen is maybe 10cm or 11cm max.
Someone prove me wrong!
C'mon Johnno!

Yep I always appreciate a car for what it is. Unless of course it doesn't have a steel bumper........ Then it's just rubbish
