Scientific Name: Labeotropheus fulleborni
Pronunciation: Lab-e-o-tro-fee-us fully-born-i
Trade Name(s): None
Distribution: Lake Wide Distribution.
Habitat: Rocky coastline.
Diet: Aufwuchs, Algae
Sexing: Many different color variations from different locations.
Maximum Size: 17cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Commonly Available in Oz.
Comments: A very odd looking species to some. Their overhanging mouth is used to scrape algae from rocks.
Males in Australia are usually blue, Females are usually OB or orange.
This species is more stocky than Labeotropheus trewavasae, Male Labeotropheus fulleborni have huge "chests" as they age, they look almost proud of this when swimming around the aquarium.
