A great little cichlid that does well in a tank with other small/med sized semi peaceful cichlids.
I have kept them with Barbs and other large tetras, they aren't overly aggressive and seem to be all show and no go.
When the males are in full color their throat is the most beautiful red.

Water conditions:
pH - 7 - 7.5
GH - 100 - 200ppm
Temp - 23 - 26c

A cichlid worth keeping if you haven't already, feed them on a good quality diet to bring the best colors out.
They are fairly easy to breed, give them a small cave and they will usually spawn.
Don't keep the with small tetras, as they will eat them.

The ones in the video haven't started to show their color yet.
