And the previous hardware setup....
Well I decided to turn it into a nano reef tank. I like gadgets and its turned into a bit of a laugh as to how much gear I can equip such a small tank with
The hardware is:
Eheim 2211 canister filter for water movement and chemical filtration/mechanical only
200w Hydor Inline Heater
Dymax XP30 Mini Skimmer
Power compact lighting with 2x 24w globes - 14000k and 1000k globes to come
Aquamedic Nitrate Reductor 400 - to come
The tank holds approx 20 litres and currently is full of live rock only.....still not sure what to stock it with, im in no rush! The tank is just for something to keep me occupied.

Ive narrowed it down to a shortlist and ill do some re-search on the following....
Lots of zooanthids, corallimorphs, Tubastrea sp/sun coral, euphyllia ancora, orange and green fungia and Lobophyllia......Pretty sure Ill be needing a larger tank
Added some caulerpa today that I got from AAA, thanks Paul! They have some nice marines there atm!
Heres a pic from today.....adds a bit of colour.

I'll be watching closely.
I was thinking of doing it in a 1ft cube, so slightly bigger than your setup.
Seems overkill the denitrator but the tech, gadgets and setup is 75% of the fun... annoyingly (because it means once it all works no more gadgeting or setup to do then time to do something else lol)

Bowdy dropped in at my place and bought me these two Clownfish I was eyeing off and telling him about a few days ago, such a champ!!!
They're apparently a standard ocellaris x black ocellaris, regardless they look amazing with the orange and black and they have such an interactive personality already.
Theyre a bit hard to take a photo of, especially with an iPhone but heres two anyway.

An anenome should never be added to a tank for at least 6 months of a new setup.
