Wound/growth? On Peppermint Pleco Juvie

Type of fish: Peppermint Pleco (3.5cm)
Symptoms: Brown Growth on body (as pictured)
Other tank mates: More Peppermints and some cardinal tetras
Tank size / capacity: 50L
Type of Food fed: Zuuchini & ALgae Wafers
Feeding frequency/amount: every other day
Substrate: Gravel
Type of filtration: Fluval C4 HOB Filter
Frequency of filter cleans: Weekly
Frequency and % volume of water changes: Bi-Weekly 10-20% water change
Last water change: Yesterday
PH: Around 6.5
KH: Low (Use RO water at about 50ppm TDS)
GH: Low (Use RO water at about 50ppm TDS)
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 0
Ammonia: Sometimes fluctuates up to 0.25 as there is quite alot of food about the tank but usually zero
Phosphate: n/a
Water temp: 27
Medications used recently to date: n/a
Any recent changes..new fish/filters/power outages etc etc: No recent Changes

 

 

Noticed this  growth on one of my juvies last week. I caught him to get some photos and also tried to gently poke it with some tweezers to see if it could be easily dislodged (thought maybe it was just some waste lodged on him) with no immediate success. I didn't want to put the fish under any extra stress so quickly let him back into a floating tank until I can work out what to do next.
