Not long now till the big day.

Don't forget there's a free feed (BBQ incl. scotch fillet burgers mmmmmmm), free non-alcoholic beverages and a licensed bar.

Plus heaps of big prizes for the raffle and free bowls for those that want to have a crack! How many clubs offer a spread like that @ only $25 a year not including all the other benefits....? that's value!!!

I need to know numbers for catering so those late in RSVP'ing please do so quickly . Sponsors are also welcome.

I see the forecast is for 39c, will the roof be closed? I think a decision needs to be made early in this regard to avoid confusion like in the tennis.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Bringing the wife and kid too, so if anyone is coming along with their family tomorrow be sure to say hi. Introduce the women to each other then they can sit and chat about fabric softener and ironing techniques while we drink beer and play lawn bowls. Although I will be late, so might miss out on the start of the lawn bowls. Anyone wanting to come say hi, I'm the good looking one so won't be hard to find. Humble too. See y'all tomorrow!

We look like we are going to have a pretty good turnout. The bowls will probably kick off as it gets cooler, rather than immediately.

Is there a dress code? Its singlet and thongs weather tomorrow.

I would think the club house has a no bogan policy.

Couldn't find anything on their site about the dress code. Footwear shouldn't matter as it's "barefoot bowls". If you are bowling and want to wear shoes make sure they are flat soled. Re: tank tops bring a spare t-shirt just in case.

They're fairly close to the river so hopefully we'll get the sea breeze early on.
