if ya want some green in there pick up some vallis and cut it short so it looks like it has been  attacked by thousands of cichlids  and I think that would look good  just a hint if needed come to auction im sure there will be plenty up for grabs

PS: will keep the better half appeased as well

Putting children before the PCS.........kidding! :)
I like the second pic. The tank is bare without plants

If you're bored tomorrow, feel free to swing past and do some water changes on a few of my tanks

I have the same silk plants in mine mate, I quite like them. They do after a while get a bit stringy when the bnose get to them, but they do look nice.

Keep the second one.

PS. what is the cylindrical thing in the middle of the tank? Black and Silver colour

I may put them back but for now enjoying the natural look , it was a Powerhead with sponge filter to do mechanical filtration only was very efficient collecting all the poop

I prefer real plants, so I like the natural look much more. Then with the silk plants.

A careful bit of rock and vallis-scaping and you can also hide the filter in/outlets to make it look even better still (looks great in the first pic, I think the silk plant colours look a little unnatural and detract from the colours of the great fish you have)! :D
