I like the idea of building a fish room from cool room panels and then just heating the whole room. If you could keep a constant temp (shouldn't be too hard) could you just about do away with all other heaters? My tanks are all inside and my house is well insulated and temp controlled so no need for it yet..... I have seen a lot of ads for ppl wanting to get rid of coolrooms so if you had the time transport and energy you could get one for free!!! A few years ago I insulated my shed with gold batts and gyprock panels and I seem to keep temp between 18-28 just about all year round do you think this would be a viable option for a fish room?
