The Calvus grows to larger sizes and its finnage is supposedly larger and has slightly more "rays" or bones in it than the A. comps. Also, the Calvus has a longer profile from dorsal fin to mouth than the comps. Also calvus have no scales on the top of their head (calvus is latin for bald).

Anyway Hope this helps Gee.

Dan.

Cheers Jay,

Only problem is i know alot more on the fish that we had in America, because i doubt you can bring them back. Can you bring back Peacock Bass? Because they were a really awesome fish to watch especially at feeding time :good

peacock bass are a rather expensive and hard to coem by fish here.

Thats if your reffering to C.Monucolus (excuse the spelling)

I have seen a few on display at fish stores but people rarely have an aquarium big enough to house them biggrin.gif
