hey guys, jsut wondering, im going to purchase some peps tomorra and was wondering if they are more sensitive to their surroundings than normal bristlenoses are and whether they need different conditions or jsut the same ?

they live in practically the same conditions but try to keep water a bit softer

Mate 5 forums down is the The Australian Catfish & Loach Forum. The first 3 stickys on top of the page contain over 140 replys dedicated to Peppermints. I'd be surprised if the answer to your question is not in there.
But to answer some of your question, I've found Ancistrus sp. to not enjoy sudden changes in water parameters. A gentle slow introduction should see them right.
