My two electric yellows have been doing the mating dance, but other fish usually get in the way :p I think they are too young to breed yet anyways.

How big are the comps fry? I might be interested in a male comps soon :p

mrgreen, do you have any pics of your Pseudotropheus saulosi (albino's), because i brought some fish by the name of albino Labidochromis caeruleus but i think they are Pseudotropheus saulosi (albino's).
thanks chris

Hey Chris. IMO the albino labs are a cross between a yellow lab (electric yellow) and an albino zebra. The shape is not consistent,in my books anyway!! I've seen these in this shop and is another example of bad practice and profiteering

Cool, atleast you know youve got atleast 1 female then :lol
I used to strip them at about 2 and a half weeks, but itd be better if you could get the female into a floaty so she can do it herself.

Merjo: Whats L occulatus? I havent heard the name before, well, only the gar L occulatus.

Cheers

ahha mine are definately albino salousi and if ur talkin about those fish at aqutics , there are not similar in any way (cept the red eyes)

both my salousi parents are of normal colours and are true to type , i will post some pics up , but not before there in there new home , which i am building at the moment , so stay tuned for some pics , as discussed with electric , the albino salousi are actually coloured , males being white and females being yellow , or vica versa , all in all a spectacular looking fish :good :good :good
