Very Nice! I love me some Discus!

Edit: Removed cheeky comment about "How long did it take to get them to acclimatise to salt water? & This topic is in the Marine Section."

I am in a bit of trouble. Tank is definitely not big enough to house all of these 14 discus...tank size is only around 280L. Need to do frequent water changes and control feeding too. I actually have another 8 in a 160L tank...hahaha...need to speak to Ollie to get help with water maintenance or a new tank!!!

Welcome to multiple tank syndrome
More tanks are always better than cutting back on fish

Yes 14 in 260L is a bit high, you can only manage this if you have excellent filtration.

Or a massive sump so that you technically have more than 260L of water.

There are a couple of youtube videos of Discus in like a school of 40 in a large tank.

But you need to be very strict and regimented in cleaning.

Yeah Leifbeaver....looking at maybe getting another 300L tank to split them..I have. 22 discus in total...the others are in a 180L tank..but they are small. Need to upgrade before anything happens..doing regular water change at the moment to maintain water quality...

Sorry for the delay...please find the full tank shot....

Once the discus are bigger, I will do more on the tank landscape as I am trying to keep it to bare minimum so that I can feed a bit more.
