One of our sql servers was playing up & the automatic switchover to use the secondary server didn't kick in for some reason on a few websites (PCS just happened to be one of them)
I had to take my wife to emergency dept last night and was there all night & most of the morning - so my phone was switched off - forgot to turn back on when I left, so I didn't get the message about the server been dead until this morning. The backup man who gets the message as well if I'm unavailable is on leave overseas at the moment.
Murphy's law........*sigh* everything all happens at the same time.
Sorry to all for the bit of downtime - no data or anything lost tho which is a plus....
