This is what i was asking about today Mattia.

Wonder if these can be sourced? Apparently Ollie at Aquotix knows some guy in NT?

Pseudomugil gertrudae, Spotted Blue Eye Rainbow fish is a small freshwater fish growing to a size of around 30 mm and is endemic to Australia and New Guinea.

They are a great fish. Looking forward to picking up some of my old stock in July and keeping them again.

There are so many nice Rainbows around. Saw these today online.

Pseudomugil cyanodorsalis is a very colourful species and has a common name of 'Blueback Blue Eye' or 'Neon Blue Eye'. Maximum size is around 3.5 cm. Pseudomugil cyanodorsalis were originally available in the Australian hobby in 1982 but failed to become established. Another wild-collection for the aquarium hobby was made in 1986 and today, they are widely distributed in the aquarium hobby all around the world.

They require a little bit of salt. The collection site for Aquagreen is near Broome from memory.
I love my honey blue eyes as well.

Yep rainbows, killies and dwarf cichlids are grossly overlooked.

Ooooh! Okay!
I knew them as P. Gertrudae.. I'm not yet too good with your "commercial" names.

I'm pretty sure that we had some before I got here, I asked Chris about them and we will get them sometimes.

I'll let you know when they come in, I'm definitely getting some too!!

Have a browse through this, it doesn't have the unidentifed species but it. Is a great reference. The P. sp. Aru 2 above may or may not be P. gerts...
