Does anyone reckon a 25cm Murray cod, that hasn't eaten any livies given to it, would eat / attack an 18cm Barra and 16cm Tandanus?

Murray cod should be kept totally solitary... wont end well otherwise.

Remember with cod they are fiercely territorial. Totally intolerant of other fish... Thats the big difference between cod and barra. Barra arent territorial they are just big and predatory.
Theres also a chance the cod could get into bother eating the tandanus, get himself spiked then you have 2 dead fish... im betting thats not a regular occurrence but its a risk I wouldnt want to take with my cod given fisheries seem to have cracked down on them a bit in recent times.

seeing the subject title of this thread, I thought it was going to be one of those nasty youtube vids where people film aquarium fish killing each other

It will kill and eat both. I actually lost a small murray cod because it ate a tandanus and got badly barbed in the mouth and gills. Wouldn't recommend it.
