Hey

Thought i would share the experience of my new planted tank with you all.
I will be updating weekly to record changes and so on.
The tank was set-up 2 weeks ago.
Having very high lighting and no co2 has triggered a little bit of algae but with a strict maintenance routine i should overcome that.

Specs are as follows:

Eheim 2217
Astro external
18w external U.V
Heto 120w T5 HO Tubes: 3x Aquastar (10,000k) 1x Grow-lux (6500k)
Jager 150w Heater (will install my hydor external when i have time)

Co2 setup:

(purchased 28/8/2011)
To be installed : TOMORROW 29/8/2011

Milwaukee (USA made) :
pH Controller
Solenoid
Glass probe.

Up-aqua inline atomizer.

i need to purchase a co2 for my tank, how much did yours cost? and where did you get it?

The co2 setup was a "one of a kind" i purchased second hand from a very nice lady who works at AQUOTIX.
Aquotix most likely has the largest range of co2 gear in perth...anything from little $100 setups to fully automated setups.
I got all my co2 accessories from there, co2 tubing, probe calibration solution, atomizer and so on.

Hopefully within the next 2 months, these guys will be going into my new 5x2x30.
Its time to downgrade, but upgrade at the same time.

My rainbow have been so rough these last few month with all there sparing.
