Nice one Steve, I got offered one of those a while back, gets way too big for my tanks so I let it pass. I still feel a bit of regret. You must have one mega tank on the drawing boards!

yeah you got it man.
what i know about the goonch is, where they originate from the local villagers cremate bodies on the river and throw the unburnt body parts in as a sign of setting the persons spirit free, over the years the goonch has come to realise that the sight of fire usually means a good snack on human remains and they tend to congregatearound the cremation sight. also theres reports of them nabbing children out of the shallows and eating them and another story of one taking a full size water buffelo while it drank from the river - pretty knarly fish ay, combines the aggression of a great white, has teeth that resemble a crocodile, and eats more people than hanibal himself
aka - the devils catfish (for good reasons)
any of you that get a chance check out jeremy wades fishing dvds and the one where hes in india he catches two 5 footers and see photos of one thats gotta be atleast 8 foot

But he looks so innocuous until you see the end product.

Feeding and water change time when he's a big boy should prove ... entertaining biggrin.gif
