Looks good man good work.

I'd move that spray bar from the front of the tank though.

What happened to the cabinet you made ?

the tank looks great

so tell me the 6 foot, how much litre is that?

so are river rocks 'no ph' and limestone increase the ph, i assume?

i have limestone in my tank - how long do i have before it has negative consequences?

River rocks do nothing to Ph but limestone will increase the ph and a higher ph isnt good for oscars, lve been told it can cause hole in head dease.. pull the limestone out mate, just stick with the wood and river stones pretty cheap from bunnings for a bag..

Emille the calculation for litres is in cm

Length x width x height divided by 1000

So 6x2x2 is 180x60x60 divided by 1000 = 648L

thanks bowdy for the calculation.. god i will calculate mine now

by the way i took the limestone out last night (12h00 am!). I still have 2 rocks in but i dont think what kind it is

this weekend i want to go to bunnings to get river rocks and sand - although not sure if the rocks will create an amazon look (but then again probably not white sand either). do oscars like rocks or would they be happy with driftwood only?

i like this look - its amazing:

ive had 3 suggestions for sand:

pool filter sand
play sand
lime sand

which of these are the whitest? I see on youtube that pool filter sand is best due to texture etc?

your opinions on sand would be appreciated

Using LIME sant would defeat the purpose of taking the LIME stone out don't you think smile.gif

Judging on what your saying you want things to look natural as possible. Play sand looks fake. The best stuff I'd river sand as already mentioned.
