hi guy can anyone tell me if this is going to be a male or female jaguar cichlid? i know its a bit young but what do you think..cheers

thanks malawinman85 i think its female too, ive noticed a purple sheen on certain angles

Not a chance at all for some time unless your confident at venting (looking at private parts).
Most people wait till they pair up, then the male grows much faster from there.
When I mentioned purple sheen or copper sheen,,, this is very subtle and can only be seen in comparing fish side by side.
Sexes become much more apparent when when they get very big,,, big.
I'm talking about absolute certainty determining
