Hi dramat1c,

great looking tank! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Seeing as you have malawis i would reccomend adding some more limestone rock to form more caves. Also, raising the water level to the top usually looks better IMO.

looks really good, nice work!

Thanks! Yea I'm gonna get some big limestones and stack them on together and might need some plants as well laugh.gif And I dont' know wat fish I'm gonna get for this tank yet, still researching laugh.gif I'm thinking of some blue dolphins and Tropheus duboisi laugh.gif

Might I be so bold .... as to recommend American Cichlids? Take a good read about them if you are still deciding, you will be very surprised at the personality and habits of these awesome fish biggrin.gif

Why do u want to get blue dolphin??? Did you lose some in the past? wink.gif haha jks man... nice tank.. just doing this to make the thread uber long haha

New baby cichlids will look real nice in the tank...

FTW get that 45 dollar limestone b4 some1 else gets it... just to make sure... if ur reading this comment and not Dramat1c, u can steal his limestone rock which is at Aquotix in Cannington on Bannister Road...

thanks for your suggestion! I'm thinking of getting red empress tongue.gif and I will go read up more information on American Cichlid.

I have started to get more rock and this is a rock I got from Aquatix tongue.gif

It's so massive with so many little holes and caves...just right for my little cichlids. :wink:

loL i love the rock too man, I only buy the rocks when I have the "love at first sight" feeling. I love the driftwood too but it makes my tank yellow sad.gif

Obviously you dont fill your tank up to the coverglass. But I think Craig means leave a gap of 1.5-2cm. I fill my tanks to that level. Your current gap looks about 6-8cm. If you feel your fish may jump, then leave the water level the way it is.
