So I just purchased a 6x T5HO unit, what tubes would you put in the layout if you had it?

I'd love to hear everyone's opinions

What are you planning to achieve? Is it freshwater? Are you growing plants?

I've got a male peacock tank (no plants).
Just a well balanced spectrum, so all the fish look nice with the lights

I'm thinking:
1. 10000K white
2. Blue actinic
3. Red
4. 10000K white
5. Blue actinic
6. 10000K white

Blue would be good for a night light
White and Red for daytime viewing of the fish
Can you switch between day and night tubes? Otherwise no point having blue tubes with the red and white (in my opinion, as I may be wrong)

Yes, I have two switches.. Each switch for 3 bulbs
I do like the white with blue look though, most cichlids have blue so I think it's good to have on with the white brings the colour more
