Ok, so I am officially sick of my tank having the skimmer hanging on the side so I am hoping someone can tell me in very simple terms what I need to get to set up a sump.

The tank is a 4ft tank that is only 1ft wide and about 1.5ft tall. It is in the gap between two rooms so is viewed from both sides (my parents one condition on getting the tank).

I have a skimmer that I got off Guppies about a year ago and it has a slight bubble issue. So I want it out of the tank and into a sump.

What do i need? NOTE tank does not have any overflow chambers on it.

I have converted heaps of tanks for sumps using heaps of methods. If your prepared to empty the tank drilling and plumbing is the safest option. You could go for a double s bend but IMO can be problematic. If you want a hand to design something for your system flick us a PM and we can have a chat smile.gif
