I'm looking for a new appisto pair for breeding in a soft water/heavily planted tank i have set up, If anyone has any young adults to sell or even Juvis i'd be very interested in having a look at what types are around at the moment, not looking for overly expensive appistos, anything like inka50s or panduros, anything else im keen as well, ill probably be looking at buying around half a dozen or so...

I also have a lone panduro male if anyone has a young adult female they are willing to sell

I check posts daily so if you want to sell post here, or email me at seanwzambotti@live.com

When your buying a pair only, price don't really matter to much, didn't to to me in the past.

Saw the Double red pairs at Aquotix for $75 the other day. Very tempted to buy. Looked fantastic and great quality.

I have some Double Red fry growing out that have the half black body gene. They are still 3-4 weeks off but there is a panduro female for sale on Gumtree

went to vebas, bought a lovely young pair of nigerian red kribs, love kribs, they were the ones who got me into dwarf cichlid breeding from the age of 9, 16 yrs later and i still enjoy it more than ever, watching their spawning behavour and great parenting is an amazing documentary to have in your own home :D

Good lad! Westies are heaps cooler than Apistos :P

I have nigeria reds too. Very pretty fish, especially when breeding

Did you see their subocellatus kribs in the tank next to them? I got a breeding pair of those too

put some pics up in a photo thread

Yes i did, however i only had 1 tank so i had to make the tough decision which pair of kribs i wanted, otherwise i would have easily got both, but the pair of reds stood out for me, they were teaming up on the other kribs, both fending other fish in the tank away from areas in the tank, thats good spawning signs if ever id seen any so had to get em :D. At the moment if settled them down in their own tank with a few dither fish (guppies) to keep them a bit busy... they seem to like protecting a small flower pot, signs are good
