I found these 2 tortoises laying eggs in my back yard on Monday they were about 20 meters apart, there was another nest about 40 meters away but the bandicoots had already got at them. I covered both nests with wire crates for protection. The hatchlings will be able to get through the wire.

I doubt that I will get pics of these as they hatch, it's unlikely that I'll be there at the time.
Here is a pic of some that Ronda found in the vegi garden a few years ago she helped some of them out of the shell, there were 8 of them.
I took a video the other day of one of them laying eggs but I don't know how to edit or up load
