Hi Mark

Try give us some more information, and put a little more effort into asking questions.

I have kept two mature male rays together in the past, and it has 'worked'. As everything with fish keeping, each individual scenario is different. I kept mine in a 8x3x2.5 and they were young adults, they were also in with 3 large mature females which I think helped break up aggression - I personally think that a 8x3 is the minimum floor plan people should keep rays in, some would disagree.

I would be more concerned about your female to be honest - two mature males in the confines of an aquarium could easily inflict mortal wounds on a girl. Female rays have evolved to deal with and heal from large amount of punishment - but in an aquarium it can often not end well.

Keeping multiple male rays in the one tank also doesn't allow you to select properly for breeding as you will never know which male has got the job done. Which is only a big deal for people breeding for traits/purity of species.

Good luck,

Alex

i have 10x2x2 one of the male rays is smaller about 18cm. The funny thing is it's the small one nipping the big one. I figured 2 males isn't good idea but thought it would be ok until the small one matures. Then i was going to deviad the tank then let 1 go if i had to.
