Scientific Name: Aulonocara stuartgranti 'Mdoka'
Pronunciation: A-loo-no-car-a stuart-grant-eye ma-doke-a
Trade Name(s): Mdoka Peacock
Distribution: Mdoka
Habitat: Sandy areas with large rocks.
Diet: Snails & other Invertebrates
Sexing: Males have a blue body with a yellow under body coming up to the middle of the fish. They have beautiful veins running through the caudal fin.
Females are brown with barring.
Maximum Size: 15-16cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Not Commonly Available in Oz. They make excellent display fish as they are spectacularly colored.
