Mdokas in the 2nd pic and at the bottom of the third.
The rostratus are tiny and pretty fast. Can't get a decent pic of them. They are a pretty standard silver and black.

Yeah, heaps of growing to do. There are around 40 fish in my 8x3x2.5 and it looks empty.
I'll try get a full tank shot. That flat rock is about 3' long looks pretty good. Pain in the ass to lift up into the tank though.

Damn right they are, one shot up straight through a half inch gap in the glass to his weary death

I know what it's like to lift big rocks into tanks mate and I can relate to it. Glad you got it in safely.
What's the stocklist so far? Are you planning on adding more fish or just let them grow out for a while?
Jack.

4x Nimbochromis venustsus
2x Placidochromis phenochilus “mdoka white lip"

Yeah will probably add another 50 or so small fish over the next month or so. Then thin the numbers out as the fish grow and i see fit.

Cheers mate. Stocklist is nowhere near complete, but it is coming along nicely. First time I've kept some of the species, looking forward to seeing how they develop.
