thanks Alex...that means alot coming from you!

Hey Daz...not sure about the electricity cause it is all apart of a large building with a/c & heating, many many lights fitting, and industrial kitchen that pumps out 800 meals a day, plus a whole lot more power sucking appliances...fortunately as a charitable organisation we get our gst refunded which helps a bit...
I will be adding 3 barra, 2 black eeltails, and replacing a couple of mono's...I have thought about breaking rank and going outside the aussie native box...most people that enjoy it daily are internationals and have no clue of the origins of the fish anyway...besides that I discovered recently that red scats aren't actually native to australia, they are native in asian waters...an ID shark would look SUPA cool in there but if will smash up the scape maybe not a good idea...the salmontails are already pretty clumsy...probably much more dso when they hit 60+cm's...a couple of peacock bass would be a great addition but I have well and truly exhausted (not blown) the budget I was given by my boss for this beast of a tank...fish donations would be gratefully accepted of course wink.gif SamJohns contributed a big red scat from his private collection. Cheers Sam!

Dano I'm almost positive I've caught red scats while fishing in a tidal mangrove creek up north, definitely caught silver scats! I'm 99.99% sure they are native mate.

Dan! My man. How's it all going? Itching to come down for dinner again! Hope te Scats growing and fitting in well.

The only other native I have to offer would be a Jardini or a barra. They would both clean up in that tank unforunately.

As far as the ID shark goes. I have a 50 odd cm one of the to. But he would definately destroy that lovely driftwood!

May have to come see you for that bit of wood if it's still there.

Sam

I have found some 8cm barra so will grab those today and if they are too small for my toga then I will grow em out a bit in the other tank at the base...tehy grow like lightning so won't be long before they go in the big tank...I'll have a look and see if that massive piece of drift wood is still there...you are more than welcome to it if it is mate...talk to ya soon cuz. Thanks man. I am unsure about my number. Should be the same 0449008132?

Barra are pigs man. I love them, but I am considering getting rid of mine. It eats so much before most other fish get a chance. Put some feeder gold fish in the other day, it had 4 in its mouth at once! No wonder it's gone from 20cm to near 40cm in a matter of maybe 4 months!

Be great to catch up again mate. Thoroughly enjoyed last time.

I put 2 more monos in today with an 8cm golden eeltail...bloody barra tried to eat the eeltail almost straight away...had to move the poor guy into a 6 footer that I am growing out some 7 bars, ey's and a colony of spilo tanz liuli...hope he grows quick...otherwise he may never get to enjoy the 1400 litre penthouse...
