Parents are easier to get on with than wives! Im only allowed one tank in the house :-(

You're lucky! I was told to shift my fish elsewhere after a major disaster with an aquarium in the house. But then there is a silver lining to every cloud, and that was the encouragement to build a separate fish-room. Mind you, that was nearly 40 years ago, and after 2 house shifts, I am currently trying to complete my third room. It is possible to be just too smart, and in consequence create unforeseen problems: that is why my first room was possibly the best, but if I ever finish mark3 it should be OK....just prefer not to think of (or admit to my wife) the final cost.

Syd.

Do you have any photos/threads on your last two fish rooms Sydad? I am more than interested in seeing as many setups as possible to ensure I have everything covered in my fish room.

Look forward to seeing 'Mark3'.

Thanks

Sorry, but no photos of either earlier rooms. Bear in mind that the first was set up 40 years ago, and I spent all my available cash on matters aquatic instead of cameras...no such thing then as easy-peasy digital photography.

As for the second room, I did have a few shots of it, but these were inadvertently discarded when I shifted to my current address 5 years ago. All shots of the new room are on a computer that has a failed hard disc, but hope to recover them when I can afford the expert help (fish matters still come first where money is concerned!).

Sorry for the slackness on this thread,

Haven't changed much in the fish room lately, ordered 6 XL sponge filters today to run some more tanks on.

Picking up a 4ft divided into three sections this weekend to go beneath the 4x2 and hopefully getting a stand and sump built for my two 40cm cubes to sit on.

Will post more photos once the tanks are up and running.

Jackson

New tank is now home and beneath the 4x2, spent at least 2-3 hours scraping the light blue paint off the back and sides - now just to plumb it and get it cycling.

Finally received my 6x XL sponge filters so I should have some updates soon regarding new fish/newly setup tanks.

Thanks
