Just started up another tank This time I'm going full coral and leaving the 6 footer as a predator only tank.
A big thanks to Pete (Madasa) for getting this tank to me real quick!

Mantis vids -
Yep is very clean atm. Give it time I'm sure I'll get an algae bloom soon  The higher wattage lighting gives that bleach look too making appear bright n clean also. My predator tank with standard fluoros looks quite dull and dirty in comparision.
Yep Pete the tank and cabinet are in great condition. I'm very happy with the purchase
Might grab some more liverock tomorrow. Anyone interested in a group buy? PM asap if so.

What kinds of corals are you aiming to go for and are you going to add any fish?
I think I can see an elegance, blasto perhaps and I dont know what the polyps are.

Fish will come last but will stick with small clowns, shrimp etc.
Got a elegance, coral morphs, zooanthias and forget the name of the other coral lol.

Paid $30 for the elegance, roughly $40 for the zoos and $15 per morph.

Someone was telling me about a $6 coral started with C i think. I was told it could grow under basically any lighting.

Thats the elegance. The genus for elegance corals is Cataphyllia, but theres no way they would be $6, unless it was a small frag off a fellow reefer perhaps.
You usually buy corals like you would fish, in a bag (though for long trips, wrapped in wet newspaper works arguably better).
As for attaching, you can nestle them in a spot, or attach them to a rock then nestle that. Or you can attach direct to live rock using say aqua-kneadit, or better yet (IMO), superglue gel.
