I trimmed some of my Ammania Senegalensis stems in a tank with co2, and left them floating in a low light tank for a few days. I then decided to plant them in another tank which is low light, and the difference between the colour of the stems grown with co2 and without co2 is huge! I took a couple of photos to show what I mean. The tank where I put the new stems already have Ammania Senegalensis growing. In the pics below, you will notice that some stems are green and some are pink:

The pink stems are those that were grown in a tank with co2, and were trimmed a few days ago and left to float in a low light tank. The green stems are those that have been growing under low light for 6 or more months. Huge difference! Plants love co2

Nice - thanks for the share. Always wondered what drives plants to produce pink leaves.
