Looking for a large Jar saratoga, pref 40cm plus but let me know what you have, may consider a lei if good quality. if you even have a arrow let me know what you have. have a empty 8x3x2.5 ready to stock.

anywhere in perth area, I don't mind traveling

I saw that Robs aquariums had a bunch come in around the 30cm mark, in my opinion its much cooler to start off small where you can and grow the fish up yourself. More rewarding to see a big old fish that you've had since it was tiny :)

small fish wont go too well with my 50cm peacock bass :)


do you know how much they were going for and if they are leis or jars?

Haha what makes you think it or the jar will play nice? Pretty sure they had both but the jars were th bigger ones, not sure on price.

Dont underestimate how brutally aggressive native predators can be. Good luck with it though.

you have to have an attitude like this with big fish.

trial and error.

 

try robs as they suggested, otherwise wait even, season has just started again, search gumtree.

Poor fish? im guessing you have never had Americans before mattymak, I have owned Oscars that have destroyed a jag but had another pair that was scared of 5cm gold fish, all about behaviour
