Hey guys,
decided to make a new topic as my previous one got ruined by photobucket Figured it was sort of pointless to continue the other so decided to make a fresh start. Hope that's okay mods / admin.
I've had this 6x2x2 for around a year. It has always been an Australian native tank but has had a variety of fish, aquascapes and equipment. I'm pretty happy with where I've gotten it to, but am still messing around with the aquascape and pipework a bit. The tank has changed quite a bit since the last "major" updates so here's a bit of a summary of the tank at the moment:
Technical
Black Silicone 6x2x2
2x Nautilus 2700 + Custom black poly outlets to pass over bracing
300w Eheim Jager (Planning on switching to inline or 600w titanium)
Aquascape
6x2x1 piece of driftwood
Gin Gin river quartz mixed with a tiny bit of Carnarvon river sand
Livestock
Coal Grunter (17cm)
Sleepy Cod (30cm)
Neosilurus Ater (35cm+)
Growout
Sooty Grunter
2x Neosilurus Hyrtlii
Lately I've been making the tank look how I feel is a bit more natural looking. I've done this by adding rocks, brown sand and riparian tree leaves. Previously the tank just had white sand and the wood which everybody knows looks terrible.
I also bought some plants while I was at Vebas today (For the 4x2x2 marine journal )
Here are some photos taken this evening with said leaves, sand and rocks in the tank:

Leaves keep bunching up in the middle of the tank... I want them to stay spread out but then I'd have bad flow

Freshwater limpet.. I really need to do a water-change, they're probably feeding on the leaves too though.

You may have noticed in the photos that only one of the metal halides are on. The other side has a dodgy ballast and / or igniter. Luckily doesn't sound like it will cost too much to replace, just a bit of a pita for now.
That's all for the start of this "continuation" journal. Keep an eye out for an update, I guess
