I wouldn't go bigger than this though, unless it is somehow built into the house or the house is especially set up for it.

I love the work on the plumbing ..

What was the purpose behind this ? Because of the background ? or just neatness ?

Where is the out let in the tank i cant see it ?

im sold on that background also.. where did you locate that

The bottom tank is a separate tank on its own, I keep different colonies of fish in there. Right now there are only two partitions, not three like in the old pics.

Thanks for the comments, the plumbing was done for several reasons: neatness, ease of use for water changes, efficiency for waterchanges (big pipes = less time it takes to drain).
The outlet is on the upper left hand corner, there's a small hole in the background where the pipe goes in.
I use a largish water pump to drain the tank, it connects to the drain outlet and a large hose runs to the garden.

The background was supplied and installed by Aquotix.

Sweet thanks.. just getting ideas for my new display im doing..

Awesome job,, That top 8 footer would loook great on a high gloss white or black cabinet and hood...

Have you changed that hose connection ? as that reduces it back to 12mm yeah ?
