The Kribs will be the last to go...tough buggers.

Sorry to hear of your disaster. I am not a stranger to them myself. At one stage I had life support systems in every room of the house, each a hospital tank.

I found salt, heat and tri sulphur effective in almost every case, and despite some losses, I have had many amazing tales of survival as well after getting help on this forum.

Good luck,

Regards,

Donna

Kribs are still going and im now treating with "anti ulcer" as per LFS instruction. Should i increase/decrease the tank temp or do anything else? ive stopped treating with tri sulhper and melafix. and have been doing large water changes every 4 days (before each re-treatment) Tonight i am dosing with anti ulcer again.

Kribs look way too far gone though, I expect them to be gone when i get home from work.

platies and guppies still kicking on mostly, Ive only had a few die.

LFS thinks its Columnaris... I found out two baby "platies" that I adopted a while ago were actually mollies..

sorry to jump in and add my to cents worth but s***
if the fish have worms ? simple feed them masterfoods garlic flakes , not salt the worms will leave the host , normaly its a slow death would describe them as a head on a stick , you can remove the worms from the tank . ( bare base tank is best )
red gills hmmm would sergest gill fluke slowely drop the temp of the tank if they improve then thats wat it is . if so dispose of them . dont waste your time and money on remedys
ph rase it slowley to about 7.6 to 7.8 no it wont kill wat youve got , if they improve then its acidic burn wich will slowley kill some of the fish you have. in fact all you have, if the fish were raised in high ph water.
for me personaly colomonaris well thats esay so witch bacteria , so witch one ? brought on by stress , (ok normaly)
mela fix pima fix its just shit 7 days hello the fish are already dead , wat a waist of money
for my personal advise if none of the above work then simple just melechite green and dont waste your time and or money on anything ealse
ps excuse my spelling
