LOL! corrected what?
Call them what you want.
At the end of the day, a wild blue will always look like a wild blue and yours does not.
Try doing some research somewhere other than Facebook lol.

I never said mixed breed.
A wild blue can breed with another 'strain' and still be the same species genius.
The resulting fry won't all look like the parents.
Just like your pair will result in a mixture of fry.
You're the one jumping up and down trying to prove you know something lol.

I don't like my fish because it's wild caught or a more expensive variant. I like my fish because they are entertaining and interesting to watch and I like looking after them.

That's true Red but people should still know what they have lol.
MattyB, you said yourself, you have no idea where your fish came from which would make it safe to assume, you have no clue about the genetics of that fish. So how can you say with 100% certainty what the fish will even produce lol!
Have a look at the Mendelian Principles and try not to hurt your brain too much.
That's all I'll say on this. Arguing with stupid gets you no where.

Congratulations on the spawn. I agree no need to start a slinging match however I am afraid judging from the photos you have posted, it's very unlikely you have a wild blue. Good luck with rearing them and keep us posted.
