Mate just bought one yesterday 2k 60cm green aro nice fish


Have you scanned it for "chip tags". I think the one for cats and dogs can be used to read if the fish had chip. If it has chip, its a CITES restricted arowana.

Got him from mpac was already a good size at the time . I think it was around $300

not many around and most the ones here are well over 2ft.

as far as im aware, fisheries will confiscate and destroy arowonas - according to some recent phone calls I have had with them.

 

missed out on the influx of small silvers over east a few months back........

if there are small ones in perth, grab them!

Hmm, it seems as though fisheries officers should be deemed as noxious with all of the harm they cause to live animals.

Arowana are expensive and i cant afford it thats why im happy to just settle and hunt for the poor mans arowana.

Common term for fish cheaper then another that's similar.
Uaru have been a topic of late, and are also referred to as a poor mans discus.

Just saying but I know a guy here in Perth (been to his house) and he had one silver arowana and he's bought another two. For those wondering if it's for sale, it's no.... sadly..
