As the title says I'm looking to put a single species colony in my 6ft tank, not really interested in the standard fish and I'm looking for something a little different.. Any suggestions for a species we dont have a lot of here in Perth?

How about a nice Groper tank, there a unique species and their breeding behaviour is rather kinky.

Hehe prity sure riggers isnt after a standard boring fish

Have a look on some of the import lists see if anything takes your fancy.
How about a colony of goby's very interesting to watch.

how about steer away from cichlids and do australian natives?

or killifish..theres hardly any of those in w.a
