Scientific Name: Lethrinops lethrinus
Pronunciation: Leth-rin-ops leth-rin-us
Trade Name(s): None.
Distribution: Lake Wide Distribution.
Habitat: Sandy & Muddy areas
Diet: Invertebrates.
Sexing: Males are turquoise in breeding dress.
Females are silver.
Maximum Size: 16cm
Temperature: 24 to 26c
pH: 7.5 to 9.0
Water Hardness: 300-400ppm
Availability: Rare in Oz
Comments: Lethrinops lethrinus can be easily identified from other Lethrinops sp. by the two horizontal lines on the flank.
