Diy Siphon Build Guide

Parts needed
2x 20mm elbow with thread
2x 20mm elbow
1x 20mm ball valve tap
1m length of 20mm PVC pipe
1x threaded hose fitting
PVC glue
Step 1.
Cut pipe into 4 sections like this
Step 2.
Glue small section to both un-threaded elbows
Step 3.
Use the 2 same size lengths for the tap section and glue in place
Step 4.
Glue the tap section into the smaller elbow section
Step 5.
Take your threaded elbow and glue it to the bottom of the tap section
And screw in your hose fitting
Step 6.
Glue the other threaded fitting into the last length of PVC pipe and glue into place
That's it ready to go, just plug in your hose and your set to go

To fill it with water initially connect one end of a hose to the siphon and the other end to a tap. Turn the tap on to fill the line, once the line is full close the valve, disconnect the hose from the tap, open the valve and water will siphon from the tank.
To refill the tank close the valve, connect hose back to tap, open valve and allow tank to fill. Once the tank is full, close the valve, which will remain full, ready to siphon next time...
