Just spent an age trying to catch a Sturisoma barbartum (longnose whiptail) and untangle her. She spends her time eating like a pig in my eartheater tank and somehow not only managed to rip off the thread tying down some of my plants, but also wrap it round her head. It went over her eyes, was hooked on her teeth and jaw and trailed down her gullet.
Surprisingly hard to catch for a half blind fish, it took about 30 minutes and repeated trips back into water to completely disentangle her. And most of the minipelia is now in the canister
Idiot Whiptail

What a reckless mother flipper.
Sorry about that double post Klienzy. Receptions shit. How is that tank I dropped off to you?

If that was the case, it would be wrapping the thread round another fish...
