The next ANGFA WA meeting will be at the Rotary Club Hall, Sandgate St, South Perth, Tuesday 18th January 2011, starting @ 8:00pm.

Given that it's January and folks are away on holidays etc we thought we'd have a more informal meeting this time around.

To that end, this month's meeting is a Show & Tell, followed by the usual raffle and mingling.

If you have any interesting natives & plants that you wish to share with us in person, please bring them along to the meeting.

We do have some small display aquariums available for use, but you can bring your own if that's easier.

And if you're not comfortable bringing your fish to display, feel free to bring along some photos instead.

Everyone is of course welcome. Any questions, please post here or PM me

If I remember, I'll be bringing my mini laptop along, so if anyone is after a copy of Adrian Tappin's Rainbowfish E-book, bring a thumbdrive and I'll put it on there for you.

I'm sure I'll find something to bring along smile.gif

For those that missed the meeting you missed out seeing some VERY nice fish.

Standouts were....
Chilatherina fasciata (Clearwater Creek iirc) Wild Caught Melanotaenia eachamensis (I've forgotten the locality)
Along with M. trifasciata (Cape Arnhem and Wonga Creek), Some very nice possibly "Weipa" Ps.gertrudae, Lyndon's mega Ps.furcatus and cute little baby Tandanus bostocki, my Rhad ornatus along with a Red finned Rhadinocentrus ornatus and Melanotaenia pygmaea donated by Aquotix smile.gif

I can't wait for the next show and tell, it's a great way to see and learn about new fish.
