I need to get strong lighting for a 6 footer which is good for growing plants
Looking for recommendations.
Only got 87mm gap from top of the tank to bottom of the hood
Plants are looking a little sad
If anyone can recommend something that would be appreciated.

I’m running a nemo light here (I think you had used these and there were others out now).
There is the Australian make-my-LED that a guy in Tassie was recently using and happy with.
The nemo light is pretty flat (so unlike the quad t5ho) but I’m not sure under a hood for heat. I’ve kind of given up there even though it looks so much nicer.

Pacco mentioned to me the new leds he sells are better than the memo for under a hood
The makemyled are looking like the way to go, and I want good coverage and light penetration under the hood without having to spend $2k on some crazy German light unit

Are you running CO2 on it?
I’ve been happy with the nemo and t5ho so have left it at that.

I had a look at the micmol LED lights at Vebas today. 2 x 3 foot Micmol LED lights or the MakeMyLED 6 foot tubes are an option at the moment.
Yep running an in-line co2 system from Aquotix.
I don’t want to go down the t5ho line again but it may be an option. Not many shops sell them any more though
