Knocked up a rack last night to start putting the new fish room together. It's all 90x35mm pine screwed together as well as being bolted on every leg.

Materials used..
Lots of 90x35mm pine
12x stainless M10 bolts
50 galvanised 60mm timber screws
Tools required
Drop saw
Battery drill
Measuring tape
Level
Couple o mates
I started by cutting the rails to length, 2.2m. Then cut my cross rails to size 550mm, this gives the rack a rail to rail measurement of 620mm, perfect!

Then some quick math to work out the best height for the legs to fit 3 tiers.
I screwed the rails to the cross bracing on a level surface then flipped everything upside down to attatch the legs.
After screwing in one sides legs I flipped in back over to attatch the front legs. While levelling out the frame the front legs were screwed into place to ensure it was all level.
I used a pre cut spacer to get the centre tier rails perfect then also screwed those into place.
Then I bashed in a couple of bolts in every rail at the leg joint and tightened everything up

Ive put some 10mm foam across all the tiers and tanked it up

Perfect addition for a couple hours work... Cheers Mike for the pro measuring skills and Mattymak for supervising
